Denture Care Instructions, Moncton, NB

Your dentures are a investment that you need to care and maintain to make sure that they last and perform for many years to come. Here are some simple steps and tips you can use to make sure that your dentures stay in the best condition possible.
- Make sure to clean them every day. Just like normal teeth, plaque and tartar can build up on your dentures.
- Take them out every night before you sleep and then make sure to brush your gums with a soft toothbrush, and your dentures with a denture brush. Be sure to clean and massage your gums, once again using a soft toothbrush or your finger wrapped in a clean, damp cloth.
- Soak your dentures overnight. This can be done in warm water, or a special cleaner for dentures.
** Be sure not to use toothpaste on your dentures, due to the abrasive nature of the toothpaste. It will wear your dentures down over time!**
